Bela Arts

Bela Arts is up on the second floor of the Kishore Ni building. You can find us at No. 206 on Bhagwan Das Road. It’s a nice enough area, though you have to climb a few stairs to get to us. Being on the second floor means it is a bit quieter than the street level, which we appreciate. The space is filled with whatever we are working on at the moment. It’s not a perfectly organized gallery; it’s more of a workspace where things are happening. We have supplies and finished pieces scattered around. Sometimes the floor is a bit messy with scraps or paint, but that's just the nature of what we do. We spend a lot of our time just focusing on the details of the projects in front of us. People who come to visit usually have to look for the sign on the building entrance first. It is a bit of a climb but we like the light we get up here. Bhagwan Das Road is a decent place to be based. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who handle everything from the actual work to the cleaning. It’s a modest setup and we don't try to make it seem like something it isn't. We just enjoy the creative process and the fact that we have a space to do it in. If you are around and don't mind the stairs, that's where we'll be. It is just a regular place where we make things and try to keep it steady.
