Azim Bakshi Fine Art Gallery

Azim Bakshi Fine Art Gallery is the name of our place at 260 Kishanpole Bazar. It is a busy street, like most of the bazars around here. Having a gallery in such a crowded area feels a bit different than the other shops selling cloth or spices. We spend a lot of time just looking after the pieces we have on the walls and in the back. The building at 260 has been our base for quite some time now. We don't really do much in the way of big events or anything polished. It is more about having a space where art can just be. The floor is often a bit dusty because the wind blows in from the street, and the sounds of the horns and people talking outside are always there. We like the energy of Kishanpole Bazar. It keeps us grounded. Most of the time it is just us here, making sure everything is kept safe and talking to whoever wanders in from the sidewalk. It isn't a huge space, but it serves us well for what we do. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just keep the door open and stay busy with the day-to-day tasks. It is a simple way to run a gallery and we have been doing it this way for years now without needing to change much about how we work.
