I've been working out of this spot on Ajmer Road for a while now. It's right across from the Heerapura Power House, so people usually find it okay if they know that landmark. Dealing with paperwork and daily tasks keeps me busy here in Shakti Nagar. The office isn't anything fancy, just a desk and some chairs where I get things done. Mostly, it's just me handling the day-to-day stuff that comes through the door. I started this because I wanted to stay in the Gajsinghpura area, close to home. The traffic on Ajmer Road can get pretty loud during the day, but you get used to it after a week or two. Sometimes the power goes out, but being near the power house doesn't seem to help much with that, which is kind of funny to think about. People stop by to ask questions or drop things off quite a bit. I try to keep things organized, though my desk usually looks like a mess of notes and yellow folders. It’s just how I work best, I guess. If you’re coming from the GPO side, it’s a bit of a drive but not too bad. I’ve lived around Jaipur my whole life so this feels like the right place to be. Nothing too complicated goes on here, just regular work and keeping up with the schedule. It gets very hot in the summer months, so the ceiling fan is always going on high. That’s pretty much the whole story of what’s happening here at number 87. It's a simple life.
