Shri Vishwakarma Industries

The workshop for Shri Vishwakarma Industries is located at H 447 in the RIICO industrial area of Sarna Dungar. If you know the area, we are right near the Sharda Dharam Kanta. People use that landmark to find us because the roads in this part of the industrial zone can get pretty confusing with all the trucks moving around. It is a dusty place, honestly. You can’t really keep the floor clean for more than ten minutes with all the work going on. The sound of machinery is pretty much constant from morning until we shut the gates at night. We’ve got high ceilings and metal sheets for a roof, so it gets quite hot in the summer months. You just get used to the smell of oil and metal after a while. Most of the guys here wear old clothes because everything gets stained eventually. It is not a place for a suit and tie, that’s for sure. We have a small corner for sitting and having tea, but most of the space is taken up by tools and materials. The Sharda Dharam Kanta is always busy with vehicles weighing their loads, so there is a lot of honking outside our door. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep things moving. It’s a gritty, hardworking environment where nobody worries about appearances much. We’ve been in this same spot for a while and the neighbors all know us.
