Being right near the Phulera Railway Station makes things quite interesting. You can hear the trains coming and going all day long, which is something you just get used to. My shop is in the Railway Colony area, right by the Halway Bazar. It’s a spot where a lot of travelers and local people pass through every single day. I've lived and worked around here for many years, so I know the rhythms of the station and the market well. The shop isn't anything massive or impressive, just a small space where I take care of my daily business. People often stop by on their way to catch a train or when they have just arrived in town. It gets a bit dusty because of the tracks and the general bustle of the bazaar, but we try to keep it as tidy as we can. Phulera is a small place but it stays very active because of the railway junction. I handle various things depending on what folks need from me on a given day. Sometimes it feels like I'm more of a local guide because people are always asking for directions or train timings. I don't really mind it. The market can get very crowded on the weekends, but that's typical for any bazaar located near a station. I usually sit on a stool out front when the weather isn't too hot. It’s a simple life. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights to attract attention. Most people just know Sanjeev is here if they need something. We just keep the door open.
