We’ve been here in Shastri Nagar at A-98 for quite some time now. Shiv Shakti Colony is a quiet enough spot, and our door is usually open for anyone who wants to learn. It’s a small place, nothing fancy, just a few rooms where we sit down and get to work on the notes. Some days it gets a bit noisy with everyone practicing at once, but that’s just how it goes when you’re teaching music. We started this because we liked playing, and it just turned into a place where the neighborhood kids and some adults come by after work or school. You’ll find us tucked away in the colony. Most people find us by the sound of the harmonium or someone trying to hit a high note. We don’t have a big reception or anything like that. You just walk in and find someone to talk to. We teach what we know, and we try to keep the instruments in good shape, though the strings break more often than I’d like. It’s a simple setup. We spend a lot of time just sitting on the floor, going over the same ragas until they sound right. If you’re looking for the place, just head toward Shiv Shakti Colony 1. We’re usually around most afternoons and evenings. It’s a bit cramped when the whole group shows up, but we make it work somehow. We aren't trying to be fancy here.
