Devranjani Music School

Our music school is located at D-9/120 in the Chitrakoot area of Vaishali Nagar. It is a nice residential part of the city and we have our space set up right there in one of the houses. Devranjani Music School has been a part of this street for a while now. If you walk by in the afternoon, you might hear the sound of a sitar or someone practicing their scales on a harmonium. It is not a big commercial building, just a home that we have turned into a place for music. The neighbors are mostly used to the sounds coming from our windows by now. Vaishali Nagar is a busy place, but our little corner in Chitrakoot is relatively peaceful, which helps when you are trying to listen to notes. We keep things very informal here. There are instruments leaning against the walls and cushions on the floor for people to sit on. It is a very relaxed atmosphere because we think music should be enjoyed, not just studied like a chore. We do not have any big reception desks or fancy staff, just us and the students. If you find the D-9 block, you are basically there. It is a simple life centered around music and we are happy to be tucked away in this part of town where we can just focus on the rhythm and the melodies of the day.
