Our office is over at 5 Bhagat Niwas, right near Man House on Sardar Patel Marg. If you know that area of C-Scheme in Jaipur, you know it’s always packed with cars and people going places. We spend a lot of our time right here at the desk or out on the dusty roads heading to a new project site. It’s a simple setup we have. Nothing too flashy, just some desks, chairs, and a lot of rolled-up plans leaning against the walls. We started this because we know how to build things and that’s what we enjoy doing. Rajasthan summers are pretty tough on the crews, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning before it gets too hot to breathe. Most of the guys have been with us for a long time. We know the local shops where we get our materials and we know the shortcuts through the city to avoid the worst of the traffic. Sometimes things go slow because of the rain or a late delivery, but we just keep pushing through. It’s honest work, mostly just making sure things are built the way they’re supposed to be. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. We’d rather be out there seeing the progress on a wall or a roof. It’s just us doing what we know how to do best in this part of town.
