We are located at number 78, right where Indira Bazar meets Johari Bazar. If you know that area, you know it’s always crowded and there’s always something happening. Our space isn't very big, but we manage to fit in everything we need to run the business. There’s a constant sound of rickshaws and vendors outside, which you just get used to after a week or so. We spend most of our time dealing with bus bookings and helping people figure out how to get from one city to another without spending too much money. It’s not glamorous work. Sometimes we’re on the phone for an hour just trying to confirm a single seat. The walls are covered with some old calendars and a map that’s starting to peel at the corners. We don't really have a big marketing plan or anything like that. People mostly find us because they’re already walking through the bazaar and they see our sign. We keep a pot of tea going for most of the afternoon because it helps with the stress of the busy season. When the festivals come around, it gets incredibly hectic, and we barely have time to sit down. But the rest of the year, it’s a steady pace of helping locals and the occasional visitor find their way. It’s just us doing what we’ve done for years in the heart of the market.
