Sakshi Steel

Sakshi Steel is located at Plot No-208 in the New Loha Mandi area. We are pretty close to Devshree Talkies, so there is always some traffic and people moving around nearby. The Loha Mandi is a loud place, full of the sound of metal clanging and trucks backing in and out. Our yard is usually stacked high with different types of steel. It is not a pretty place, but it serves its purpose. We spend our days tracking orders and making sure the right piles go to the right people. It is a lot of physical work and the weather doesn't always make it easy. When it rains, the yard gets muddy, and when it’s hot, the steel is almost too warm to touch. We don’t bother with fancy offices or air conditioning in the back. We just have a small space where we keep the books and take calls. Most of the people who come here are regulars who have been buying from us for a long time. They know we don't do anything for show. We just provide the materials they need for their construction work. It’s a basic way to make a living, but it works for us. We like being part of the bustle of the Mandi. There is a rhythm to the day here that you don't find in other parts of town.
