Saini Steels

Our shop is located at Shop No- 10-11, right near the Kartarpura Phatak. If you know this area of Kartarpura, you know it can get pretty stuck when the railway gates close and the traffic piles up on the road. We have been here for a while, dealing mostly with steel items. The space is basically two shops joined together to give us enough room to keep the heavier stock. It is a lot of manual work, moving metal around and making sure things are cut to the right size for whoever walks in. The air usually smells a bit like iron, and there is always some noise from the road or the trains passing by nearby. We keep a simple desk in the corner for accounts and talking to people. It isn't a quiet place, but it is where we do our business every day from morning until the evening. Most of the folks who come by are local contractors or people doing small repairs who need a bit of steel for their projects. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just open the doors and handle the work as it comes. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, especially when it is hot and the metal gets warm, but we just get on with it. It is a honest way to earn a living in a busy part of town.
