S S Fireworks

Our little spot is tucked away in Khazanewalon Ka Rasta, right in the Hawamahal Bazar area. It’s one of those busy lanes where you have to watch where you’re walking. Being near Khawas Ji Ka Rasta means there’s always something happening outside. We deal with fireworks, mostly for the big festival seasons or when there’s a wedding nearby. The shop is quite small, honestly, and it gets packed with boxes pretty fast. My brother and I usually handle everything ourselves. It’s a lot of manual work, moving crates and making sure everything stays dry. The air in this part of Jaipur is always full of noise and smells from the street food stalls. Sometimes people get lost trying to find us because these lanes all look the same if you aren’t from around here. We don’t really do much advertising. People find us by word of mouth or they just stumble upon us while walking toward the GPO. During Diwali, it gets really hectic and we barely have time to eat lunch. The rest of the year is much quieter, so we just sit and wait for the occasional customer. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time, and the walls show it. It’s just a regular business in a very old, crowded part of the city. We don’t have a fancy showroom, just a lot of stock and a counter that’s seen better days.
