S & A Industries

If you head down Road No. 13 in the VKI Industrial Area and look for the big pani ki tankui, you’ll find us at F-278. This part of Jaipur is always loud and dusty, with machines humming and trucks backing up in every direction. At S & A Industries, we’re right in the thick of it. The workshop is usually hot, and there’s always the smell of metal and oil in the air. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; we mostly just have the big open doors and some heavy-duty fans. It’s a lot of hard work, and our clothes usually end up pretty dirty by the time we head home. We’ve got a small crew, and everyone knows their job. We don't spend much time talking about visions or goals; we just look at the schedule and try to get the parts made on time. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the night fixing it, but that’s just part of being in an industrial area. We get our lunch from the local tiffin service, and we eat it sitting on whatever crates are empty. It’s a basic, tough environment, but there’s a sense of pride in actually making things with your hands. We’ve been on this road for a long time and seen a lot of businesses come and go, but we’re still here, doing our thing every single day.
