Our shop is at No-405 on Patel Marg, right where the traffic usually starts to pile up in the evenings. We’ve been trading steel here for a good amount of time, mostly dealing with builders and guys doing small home renovations. The name might sound fancy, but we are just a regular shop with stacks of steel pipes and flat bars taking up most of the floor space. It’s a bit of a juggle to keep everything organized, and sometimes it feels like we’re just moving piles from one side to the other. Patel Marg is a busy street, so there’s always noise from the scooters and trucks passing by. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the material without getting hurt. The floor is concrete and stays cold in the winter, which is nice, but the summer is another story. We usually have a radio playing in the background to pass the time between customers. People come in with sketches on scraps of paper, and we try to figure out exactly what they need for their projects. It’s not always easy, but we’ve seen enough steel to know what works. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable spot where people can get their materials and get back to work. It’s a lot of sweat and heavy lifting, but we like it. We usually keep some cold water in the back for anyone who stops by.
