Redblocks & Bricks is located right at 47 Devi Nagar, just off the New Sanganer Road in Sodala. If you know that area, you know how busy it gets with the traffic and all the shops lined up. Our office is a pretty straightforward place. We don’t have any of those fancy glass walls or expensive coffee machines you see in the big cities. It’s mostly just us, a few old chairs, and a lot of talk about construction materials. We deal with bricks and blocks mostly, hence the name, and there is always a bit of dust hanging around no matter how much we sweep. The guys are usually coming and going, checking on sites or talking to contractors. Sodala is a good spot for us because it's central, though finding parking near the office can be a real pain sometimes. We’ve been operating here for a while now and most of our neighbors know us by name. It’s not always easy work, and there are days when things don’t go according to plan, like when a delivery is late or the weather turns bad. But we just deal with it. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at blueprints on the desk. It’s a lot of back and forth, but that is just the reality of construction and contracting life in Jaipur.
