We set up Raunaq Steels Trading Pvt. Ltd. inside Radha Mohan Tower, up on the second floor in Suite No. 48. Agrasen Marg is always a noisy place to be, especially around the Bhainsthan area. There is a lot of movement outside with people and cars, but inside the office, we just focus on the trading side of the steel business. Most of our mornings are spent on the phone, trying to get the right prices for various lots of steel. It involves a lot of back and forth with different yards and buyers. We do not have a huge warehouse right here at this address; this is where the paperwork and the actual deals happen. The building is a bit on the older side, but it serves our needs well enough. Sometimes the elevator is acting slow, so we just end up taking the stairs to the second floor. We have a small team working here. We are not doing anything groundbreaking, just the daily grind of buying and selling materials. It gets pretty hectic during the middle of the month when everyone seems to want their deliveries at the exact same time. We drink a lot of coffee and try to keep the files from getting too messy. Sometimes the printer jams right when we need a contract, but we just fix it and keep going. It is a straightforward business, and we have been in this spot long enough that the local tea wallah knows our order.
