Rangdesi Apparel is located over in Maruti Colony, which is right in the Pratap Nagar area of Sanganer. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, though Sanganer itself is always buzzing with textile work. We set up this one-person company because we wanted to handle things our own way without too much noise. Being in Jaipur means we are surrounded by color and cloth, so it felt natural to get into the apparel business. Our space at number 19 is where all the planning happens. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and figuring out what works for the local market. It’s not always easy running everything, and sometimes the paperwork gets a bit overwhelming. But we like the independence. The neighbors know us as the people who are always carrying rolls of fabric in and out. We don’t have a big fancy showroom or a bunch of receptionists. It’s just a workspace where the actual work gets done. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a batch isn't right, we fix it. That's the benefit of being a smaller setup. Sanganer is the heart of printing and sewing in this region, and we are just glad to have a small corner of it. We just focus on making decent clothes for regular folks who want something that looks okay and lasts for a bit. It’s just how we do things here. We don't need things to be complicated.
