Our work is centered around the Daulatkhera and Jethana areas, specifically out in Pisangan. We operate from the local mohalla where everyone knows everyone else. It’s a very traditional setup, run through Umesh Kumar’s place, who is the son of Ugam Chand Royala. Being out here in this part of Rajasthan means we do things a bit differently than the big city firms. It’s more about personal connections and being a part of the local fabric. We handle construction tasks for the people in our community. Most days involve being out in the sun, making sure the foundations are being poured correctly or that the materials have been delivered to the right plot of land. It’s a lot of physical work and coordinating with local laborers. We don't have a website or a fancy office with air conditioning. We just have a place in the mohalla where we meet up and decide what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes we sit under the shade of a tree to discuss the next steps of a project or talk about the cost of gravel. It’s honest work. We take care of the building needs for the families around here, and they know where we live if they have questions. It is a straightforward way of doing business, based on being neighbors and knowing the land we are building on. We don't need glossy brochures to show what we can do. The walls we’ve built around Daulatkhera speak for themselves. We just keep our heads down and continue working through the seasons.
