If you head down to the Jhotwara Industrial Area, you’ll find us at A 35 near Kamani Choraha. Raju Steel Fabricators is basically a big workshop filled with the sound of cutting and welding. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we like it. We spend our days working with different kinds of steel. There’s always sparks flying somewhere in the back. We started this place because we liked building things that last. We don’t have a fancy showroom. What you see is a working floor with tools and raw metal everywhere. Sometimes the floor is covered in shavings, but that’s just a sign of a busy day. We take orders from all sorts of people. Some want something small, others need big structures. We just take it one job at a time. The heat from the torches can be a lot, especially in the afternoons. But we’ve got our routine down. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want the gates or frames we make to be sturdy. Our regulars know they can just walk in and talk to us. We’ve been at this for years and plan to stay right here at Kamani Choraha. It’s good, hard work and it keeps us busy from morning until late. We just let the finished work speak for itself when it's done.
