Rajkot Steel

We are located right at 358 Tagore Nagar, near the 200 Feet Bypass on Ajmer Road. If you know the area, you know how much construction is going on around here lately. Rajkot Steel has been supplying various bits of metal and rods for a lot of the local building projects. It’s a dusty place, honestly. We have trucks coming in and out all day dropping off loads. My hands are usually covered in some kind of rust or grease by noon. We deal with a lot of contractors who are always in a hurry. We just try to keep the inventory straight so we don't run out of the common sizes. It’s heavy work, and in the summer the metal gets so hot you can barely touch it without gloves. We have a small yard where we stack everything. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s just a place where you get what you need for a roof or a frame. My brother and I run the place. We don't have a big philosophy or anything like that. We just make sure the weight is right and the delivery happens when we said it would. Most of the time we are just drinking tea and waiting for the next truck to arrive. The bypass is always humming with traffic, which helps people find us easily enough without us having to put up too many signs.
