Rajasthan Tour Travels

Rajasthan Tour Travels is tucked into Shop No.11 on Station Road. It’s right across from Kasturi Dharmashala, so the area is always buzzing with people coming off the trains or looking for a place to stay. Being this close to the railway station means there is never a quiet moment. We’ve got the sounds of whistles and announcements as a constant background to our work. The office itself is small, just enough room for us to sit and talk to whoever walks through the door. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside, but we make it work. We handle a lot of visitors who are seeing Jaipur for the first time, so we spend a lot of time explaining maps and distances. Our drivers are usually parked nearby, waiting for the next call. The shop has been here for a good while, and we’ve kept things pretty much the same over the years. We aren't interested in being a big corporate chain. We just want to make sure the cars are running well and the passengers are comfortable. You’ll find us mostly drinking tea and checking the train schedules. If you are near the station and see the dharmashala, just look across the street and you will find our little shop. It is a busy life on Station Road, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the city.
