We've been at Taron Ki Koont on Tonk Road for a long time now. It’s a busy spot in Fateh Nagar, right near Surya Nagar. Most days, you’ll see our Jeeps and bigger cars parked outside under the shade when it’s hot. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the dashboards because Rajasthan roads can be pretty sandy. It is just me and a few drivers here. We know the routes to the desert and the small villages better than the back of our hands. People come in looking for a vehicle that won't break down halfway to Jodhpur. We keep the engines running well. Sometimes the phone rings late at night with someone stuck or needing a ride early for a wedding. We just get on with it. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks and a couple of chairs for people to sit while we figure out the paperwork. There’s usually some chai going around if the weather is okay. We don't have a big fancy website or anything, just this spot on Tonk Road where everyone knows where to find us. Usually, the traffic outside is loud, but inside we just focus on the schedules. My cousin helps with the keys sometimes. It gets busy during the tourist months, but we stay open all year round anyway. Just a local business trying to keep things moving on four wheels. We always make sure there is water in the back of the vehicles before any trip starts.
