Rajasthan 4 Tourism

Our little office is located at 1-A-1 in Vaishali Nagar, over in the Bhur Patel Nagar section. We are right on Chitrakoot Marg, which is a place many people know around here. It isn't a huge corporate building, just a simple room where we keep our maps, files, and a couple of computers. There is usually a driver or two sitting out front on the bench waiting for their next assignment. The walls are mostly covered with old calendars and some photos of places around Rajasthan. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to people about where they want to go and trying to figure out the best roads for them to take. It gets a bit hectic when the tourist season kicks in, and the office feels much smaller then. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is basically what keeps us going through the long afternoons. The neighborhood is nice because there are places to eat nearby, so we often just grab something quick and bring it back to the desk. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us who know the local roads and the hotels. We try to keep our records straight and make sure the cars are ready to go when they are needed. It’s a local business run by local people who just enjoy being part of the travel scene here in Jaipur.
