R. R. Steels

We are located at Plot No 271 in the New Loha Mandi. If you have ever been down here, you know it is all about iron and steel. It is a loud place with trucks coming in and out at all hours of the day. The ground is usually dusty and there is the smell of grease and metal everywhere you turn. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning that works all the time. It is mostly just a practical space where we can keep our records and talk to people who come by. We spend a lot of time checking the weights and making sure the loading is done right. It is heavy work and it can be tiring when the weather is bad. We usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too high and the Mandi gets too crowded to move around. Our neighbor at Plot 270 has been there as long as we have and we usually share a pot of tea in the quiet moments. There is nothing very special about our setup, just a lot of hard work and trying to keep things organized. Sometimes the paperwork gets ahead of us and the desk looks like a mess, but we find what we need eventually. It is just a regular business in a busy part of town where everyone is trying to get their work done without any extra trouble or fancy words.
