You can find us at New Atish Market, right across from Saint Anselm School. It is a very busy part of the city, and there are always trucks and tempos moving around. We deal in steel, which means our day is full of heavy lifting and moving long bars or sheets around the yard. It gets quite dusty here with all the construction materials being moved, but that is just how it is in a market like this. We spend a lot of time talking to builders and guys who are just fixing up their own houses. They come in asking for specific types of steel and we have to go find it in the stacks. It isn't a quiet office job at all. We are usually outside or in the shed where the stock is kept. The school across the road gets out in the afternoon and then the traffic gets even worse, so we try to get our big deliveries out before that happens. We have a small desk where we do the billing and keep the records, but mostly we are on our feet. It is a simple business without any bells or whistles. We just provide the steel that people need for their projects. We have been at this for a long time and know most of the regulars who come by. It is just us doing our thing in the market every day, dealing with piles of metal and helping people get their supplies loaded up correctly.
