Quality Tools Centre

Our place is located at 815, Tapadya Bhawan, right in the thick of Chandpole Bazar. If you are familiar with Jat Ke Kue Ka Rasta, you know it gets pretty crowded with people and scooters. Quality Tools Centre is tucked in there among all the other small shops. It’s an old building, and the stairs can be a bit narrow and steep, but it works fine for what we do. I’ve lived and worked around here most of my life, so the constant noise of the market feels normal to me. We sell different kinds of tools to whoever walks in from the street. Some people are just looking to fix something at home, while others are contractors. I spend a lot of time behind the wooden counter, mostly just chatting with customers and making sure the inventory isn't running too low. It’s not a big corporate operation. It’s just a shop with shelves that go up to the ceiling. The walls are lined with boxes, and sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific thing, but we usually get there. The weather in Jaipur gets really hot during the summer months, but the shop stays a bit cooler inside because of the thick old walls. We open up the shutters early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There’s always someone asking for a different size or wanting to see how a tool feels in their hand before buying. We don't have a website or a fancy sign. It’s just 815 Tapadya Bhawan.
