Our shop is right there on Diggi Road in Sanganer, basically opposite Pardaya Hospital. If you are coming from the petrol pump side, you will see us in the Kissan Market area at number 65. It gets pretty loud outside with all the traffic and the people heading to the hospital, but we are used to the noise by now. Most of our morning is spent cleaning the glass cases and making sure everything is sitting straight. Being near the market means there is always someone walking past or stopping to ask for directions. We mostly just sit here and work on whatever frames or lenses need fixing that day. It isn't a massive place, just enough room for the counter and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. The tea seller next door brings us chai twice a day, which is the best part of the afternoon. In the summers, it gets really hot on this road because there isn't much shade, so we keep the fan running full speed. People come in with broken spectacles or just wanting something new, and we do what we can. We don't have any fancy displays or loud music playing. It is just a straightforward place where we do our work and talk to the locals. Sometimes we just watch the cows go by on the road while we wait for the sun to go down.
