Beena Mundia

Over in Bapu Nagar, things can get pretty crowded, but Kalyanpath has its own rhythm. We are located at B 145 B, just off Mangal Marg. It’s a busy intersection not too far away, so you can always hear the faint sound of traffic in the background. Beena Mundia is the name on the door, though the door itself is just a regular wooden one like any other house on this street. We’ve set up our workspace here because it’s convenient. There are a lot of papers stacked up on the shelves, and we try our best to keep them in order, though sometimes things get a bit messy when we’re busy. The walls are painted a simple cream color, and the floor is that old-style stone that stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, if you knock, one of us will just get up and open the door. It’s a small operation. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down in ledgers. The tea stalls nearby are where we go for a break, and that’s usually where we hear all the local news. It’s a very grounded way of living and working. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just provide what we do from this little corner of Bapu Nagar, day in and day out, without any big drama.
