Precision Pressings

Precision Pressings is located in the Sudershanpura Industrial Area Extension at plot B-36A. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't familiar with the streets. We do metal pressing work, which basically means we have a lot of heavy machines that make a lot of noise. It’s not a quiet office job. We spend our days around steel and hydraulic presses. The floor is concrete and usually has a bit of oil on it here and there. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. The neighbors are all similar shops—welding, machining, that kind of thing. We don't have a marketing department or even a real secretary. Usually, if the phone rings, one of the guys wipes his hands and picks it up. We do parts for different industries, whatever they need pressed out of sheet metal. It’s repetitive work but it requires a lot of attention so nobody gets hurt. We keep our coffee machine running all day because it gets tiring. The sun hits the metal roof in the summer and it gets hot, so we have big fans going. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Sudershanpura, just a reliable one where people know what to expect when they walk in. It’s a dusty, loud place but we enjoy the work we do. Most of our regulars have been coming here for years.
