Pph Constructions Private Limited is based out of Hanuman Nagar, over in the Gunawata area. It is near the Labana post office in the Amer part of Jaipur. Being a bit away from the main city center has its perks, though the drive into town can be a bit of a slog some days. Our office at number 2 is a plain place where we do our planning. We aren't a big flashy company. We are just local people who understand how to build things in this part of Rajasthan. The area around Amer has its own character and we’ve gotten used to the pace of life here. We spend our days visiting various sites, checking on how the masonry is looking, and making sure the supplies actually showed up when they were supposed to. Often, they don’t, and we have to spend the afternoon on the phone tracking down a driver. That is just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy reception or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If you call, you just get one of us. We try to keep things straightforward. Building stuff is mostly about solving problems as they come up, and there are always problems. Whether it is a shortage of sand or a tool breaking down, we just deal with it and keep the project moving. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening.
