Our office, Pink City Tours And Travels, is at number 53 in Kailashpuri, which is on Amer Road. We are tucked in behind the Gram In Police Line, so it is a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't from around here. Amer Road is always full of tourists and locals going towards the forts, so there is always a lot of energy outside. Our office is pretty simple. We have some maps on the walls and a couple of desks where we handle all the tour bookings. We spend a lot of time talking to people about where they want to go and what they want to see in Jaipur. It isn't a high-tech office; we still use a lot of paper notebooks to keep track of things alongside the computers. Sometimes we have to go out and meet the drivers or check on the vehicles we use for tours. It is a lot of walking back and forth. We don't have a big marketing team or anything polished like that. We are just a few people who know the city and know how to get people around. Some days are slow and we just sit and wait for the phone to ring, and other days it is non-stop. We just take it as it comes and try to keep everything moving in the right direction. It's just what we do every day.
