Our shop is the first one in Dadi Bari Market, right along Sikar Road. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and loading. We've got steel beams and pipes piled up in the back and on the racks. It's a noisy place, mostly the sound of metal clanging or the saw cutting through heavy pipes. We spend most of the day wearing boots and getting our hands dirty. Sikar Road is always dusty, so we're constantly wiping down the counter and the chairs. We don't have a big office, just a wooden desk near the front where we keep the ledger and the receipts. Most of the people who come by are builders or guys working on local houses nearby. They know where we are. Sometimes the heat in the market is tough, but that's just how it is in this part of town. We keep it simple. If someone needs a certain length of steel, we find it, cut it, and load it up for them. The market has been here for years, and we've seen a lot of shops come and go. We just stay focused on the inventory and making sure the counts are right. It’s heavy work, but it keeps us busy through the week. Not much else to say about it, just a regular steel yard in a busy Jaipur market. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake.
