We have been operating out of this first-floor space on Chaitanya Marg for a while now. C Scheme is usually pretty busy, especially during the middle of the day when everyone is trying to park their cars. Our office at C 81B is where most of the planning happens. It’s not a huge place, just a few desks and a lot of blueprints rolled up in the corners. Pehal Builders Llp is really just a group of us who know how to get things built. Sometimes the tea guy from downstairs forgets our order, but that’s just how it goes here. We spend a lot of time on the phone with site supervisors and checking on materials. Building things in this city takes a lot of patience because of the traffic and the heat. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working through files and trying to stay on top of the schedule. You can see the street from the window, and there’s always something going on outside. Most of our days are spent dealing with contractors or looking at land papers. It gets a bit noisy when the traffic picks up in the afternoon, but we’re used to it by now. We just focus on the work at hand and try to keep things moving forward without too much fuss. It's a straightforward setup here on the first floor.
