Started OMECON CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED a few years back here in Jaipur. We are over in the Hirapura area, specifically at 86, Shyam Vihar in the Advocate Colony. It’s a busy neighborhood and we’re right in the middle of it. Building houses and handling construction projects takes up all our time, honestly. Sometimes the traffic in Jaipur makes it hard to get the trucks in on time, but we manage. We aren’t some giant corporation with hundreds of suits. Most of the time we are out on the sites with dust on our boots. Being in Advocate Colony means we see a lot of the local people every day. We just focus on getting the bricks laid and the cement poured correctly. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat, but we like seeing a building go from a hole in the ground to something people can actually live in. We don't have a fancy front desk or anything like that. If you come by the office, you’ll probably find us looking at blue prints or talking to the laborers about the next stage of a job. It is just about doing the daily grind and making sure we finish what we started. Jaipur is growing fast and there is always something needing to be built or fixed up, so we stay pretty tired but satisfied with what we do.
