Om Prakash Gordhanlal

Our place is Plot No.B-46, located right in the middle of Bhama Shah Mandi. Om Prakash Gordhanlal is the name we go by. If you’ve ever been to the mandi, you know how loud and busy it gets, especially in the early mornings. We’re right there in the thick of it. The office is basically just a room with some desks and a lot of samples. It's not a place for sitting around. We spend most of our time dealing with the arrivals at the plot. The floor is usually covered in a bit of dust from the goods, but that’s normal for a place like Bhama Shah Mandi. We’ve been doing this for years, following in the steps of those who came before us. It’s a lot of long hours and sometimes the work is physically draining. We don't use any fancy systems, just the old-fashioned way of keeping track of things. We know our neighbors at the other plots and we all help each other out when a truck gets stuck or someone needs a hand. Om Prakash Gordhanlal isn't a brand, it's just our name and what we do. We don't have a polished story to tell. We just show up at B-46 every morning and get to work. It’s a noisy, busy life, but it suits us well enough. We wouldn't know what to do with a quiet office space. This is where we belong.
