You can find us at Saraogi Mansion on M I Road, which is one of those spots everyone in Jaipur knows. Nikhaar Fashions has been tucked away here for a while. Being on M I Road means there is always something happening outside our doors. It’s a historic part of town, and the building itself has its own character, even if it’s a bit old. Our space is usually packed with different types of fabrics and finished pieces waiting to be picked up. We don't go in for those high-end marketing gimmicks you see nowadays. We're just a bunch of people who enjoy the process of turning a piece of cloth into something someone can wear. The workspace can get a little cramped because we keep growing our stock, and sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit and have a cup of chai. We’ve got regulars who have been coming to us for years, and they know we aren't about the fluff. We talk about the weather, the traffic on M I Road, and then we get down to the clothes. It’s a hands-on business. Every day there’s something new to fix or a different pattern to figure out. We don’t have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us, our tools, and the work we do every day. It’s lived-in and real.
