Nidhi Design & Fashion is located at 5, Keshav Vihar, right off the Gopalpura Bypass Road. It’s a busy spot, and you can always hear the cars and bikes zooming past throughout the day. The building is a regular house that we’ve converted into a working space for our design stuff. Downstairs is where most of the activity happens. We have a few long tables covered in different types of cloth, and there are always scraps of fabric and thread on the floor. It looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Our sewing machines have their own spot by the window where the light is better for the detailed work. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just have to wait it out or do the cutting work by hand while we wait. It gets pretty cramped when we have a lot of new stock arriving, with bags piled up near the door. We don't have a showroom or anything like that; it’s mostly just a place where things get made and packed up for delivery. Most of the people working here live nearby, so there’s a lot of chatter and local news being shared over lunch in the small kitchen area. We’ve been in Keshav Vihar for several years now, and the neighbors are used to the sound of our machines. It’s just a small, local operation trying to keep up with things.
