Nabriya Traders

Our place, Nabriya Traders, is right on Court Road in Sanchore. Being in the Jalore district means we deal with some serious heat for most of the year. The shop is usually busy because the court is right there and there are always people moving about. We trade in a variety of things depending on what people in town need at the moment. It’s a lot of loading and unloading boxes. My shirt is usually dusty by noon from moving stock around. We don’t have a big showroom; it’s more of a practical space where we store stuff and talk to customers. Sometimes the fans aren't enough when the sun is really beating down on the road. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us. We keep a ledger, take orders, and make sure the deliveries go out when they’re supposed to. It’s straightforward work. No one here wears a suit. We just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of trading. The street can get pretty noisy with all the traffic coming through Sanchore, but you get used to the sound of horns after a while. We just focus on the inventory and making sure we have what people are asking for. It's a simple life, just running a trading business in a busy part of town where everyone is just trying to get through their daily tasks.
