Mumal Tour & Travels

Mumal Tour & Travels is tucked away at D-26 on Devi Marg in the Bani Park area. Bani Park is a bit different from the crowded station roads. It has more trees and the houses are older. Our office is in a residential-looking building, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a shop in a mall. We mostly deal with tours and car rentals for people who want to see the sights around Jaipur or go further out into Rajasthan. We have a couple of desks and some photos of the cars we use. Usually, the day starts with checking the schedule for the drivers. We have to make sure the tanks are full and the AC is working because it gets incredibly hot here. It is not a big corporate operation. We just know the roads well and we know how long it takes to get to places like Ajmer or Pushkar. People call us up and we give them a price. That is basically it. No fancy talk or hidden stuff. We just try to be reliable so people call us again next time they need a ride. Sometimes we have tourists who want to see the forts, and other times it is just someone needing a car for a wedding. It is a steady life here in Bani Park. We like the neighborhood and the people we meet. The street stays fairly quiet compared to the main roads.
