Mohanshree Metal Works

Mohanshree Metal Works is Shop No. 26 inside Raghushree Market at Ajmeri Gate. If you know that area, you know how packed and busy it gets. It is a real squeeze sometimes just getting through the alleyways with a load of metal. Our shop is not very big, but we make the most of every inch of space we have. There are tools hanging on the walls and pieces of metal tucked into every corner. It is a very old-fashioned way of doing business. We deal with people face-to-face all day long. The market is loud with people shouting and carts rolling by on the stone ground. We have been in this spot for years and know most of the other shopkeepers around us. It is the kind of place where you have a cup of chai with a customer while you talk about what they need. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that spin all day. It gets incredibly busy during the peak hours, and you have to be quick on your feet. We do not have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing we are here in the market. It is a tough environment but it is where we belong. The smell of grease and metal is just part of the everyday life here at Ajmeri Gate, and we would not have it any other way.
