Mittal Industries

Mittal Industries. Out here in the RIICO Industrial Area in Sitapura, things are always moving. Our place is H1-782, and you can usually tell you’re close by the sound of the machines running. It gets pretty hot in the summer, especially with all the metal and the big roof, but we have some fans going to keep it bearable. We aren't a huge operation with thousands of workers, but we keep busy enough with the orders we have. Most of the guys here have been with us for years, so everyone knows what they’re supposed to do without being told twice. We deal with a lot of raw materials and finished parts, and there is always a truck being loaded or unloaded at the gate. The dust from the road gets everywhere, so we spend a fair bit of time just cleaning off the surfaces and keeping the place decent. It’s honest work, and there is a certain rhythm to the day that I really like. We start early before the sun gets too high and usually wrap up by evening time. If there’s a big order, we might stay late, but we try to get home to our families most nights. We don’t have much time for fancy office talk or long meetings. We’d rather just show you what we’ve made and get on with the next task. It’s a simple setup, just a workshop and a small office space for the bills.
