Ki & Ka Fashion

Ki & Ka Fashion is a small shop, number 4, over in Mansarovar on New Sanganer Road. It’s right there on the street level, so you can see the clothes in the window when you drive past. We don't have a massive collection, but we try to keep things that people around here actually want to wear. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside when we get more than three customers at once. We have a small changing room in the back that we built ourselves. The lighting is okay, nothing like those big malls, but you can see the colors well enough. We spend the day folding clothes, steaming out wrinkles, and talking to the people who wander in. Sanganer Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of dust that we have to wipe off the counters every morning. We’ve got a small radio that plays music while we work. It’s just us running the place. We know the neighbors in the other shops and we usually share tea in the afternoons. It’s a simple life. We like looking at new fabrics and deciding what to put on the mannequins. It’s not a high-end boutique, just a local shop where you can find something nice for a decent price. We stay open late most days because people like to shop after work when it cools down.
