Manglam Tourism

You can find Manglam Tourism at 206 B Sansar Chandra Road, inside the Tirupati Trade Centre. Being on SC Road means it’s always hectic outside. There are cars honking and people rushing to the various shops and offices in the trade centre. Our office is just a regular room with a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while they talk to us about their travel plans. We have a lot of brochures and maps lying around, though most of the time we just look things up on the screen. It’s not a very big space, so it can get a bit cramped if more than three people show up at once. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls. We just like talking about travel and helping people figure out how to get from one city to another. The building itself is quite old and the elevator sometimes has a mind of its own, so many people just take the stairs. We've been here for a while and we know the other shop owners in the trade centre. Sometimes we go downstairs to get a coffee or just to escape the phone for ten minutes. It’s a busy life, especially when the holiday season starts and everyone wants to go away at the same time. We just take one call at a time and try to keep everything straight in our ledger.
