Manglam Steel Tech

We spend most of our days at Samrat Industrial Area. It’s a busy place. If you come down Road No. 6, you’ll find us. We are right near Chandan Marble, which most people know as a landmark. The bus stand is right opposite too, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise from the buses coming and going. Manglam Steel Tech has been here for a while. It gets pretty hot in the shed when we are working on the steel parts. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside. We usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There’s a tea stall nearby where we go for breaks. Working with steel is hard work, our hands get greasy and the machines are loud. We just try to get the jobs done and out the door on time. The area gets crowded during lunch hours. It's not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a workshop with high ceilings and heavy tools. We see the same faces every day, neighbors from other workshops. Most people find us by looking for the marble shop first. It’s easier that way. We've got our routine down. When the trucks come to load up, the whole street feels cramped. But we make it work. The stray dogs usually hang out by the gate in the shade, and we don't mind them much as long as they stay out of the way.
