Mangala Ispat (Jaipur) Ltd.

Out in the V.K.I. Area on Road No. 9, you’ll find us at B-234. This part of Jaipur is all about industry and big metal sheds. Mangala Ispat (Jaipur) Ltd. is right in the middle of that landscape. It’s not the kind of place tourists visit when they come to see the palaces. It’s dry, dusty, and there’s always a truck backing up somewhere nearby. We spend our days managing the steel and keeping an eye on the yard. The sun can be pretty brutal in this part of Rajasthan, and the metal gets so hot you can't touch it without thick gloves. Our building is a simple structure that serves its purpose. We don't have a reception desk or a lobby with magazines for people to read. It’s mostly just desks covered in dusty ledgers and a lot of open space for the inventory. Most of us have been at this location for a while, so we know every corner of Road No. 9. We see the same faces every morning when the tea stall opens up down the street. Working with ispat is heavy and loud, and there’s no way around that reality. We just get on with it, day after day, making sure the loads are ready and the paperwork is sorted. It’s a straightforward way of making a living in the industrial zone. We don’t try to make it look like something it isn't. It’s just a steel business in Jaipur.
