Mamodiya Stones

We are over in the Kartarpura Industrial Area at number 18 just off the Ajmer Road. There is stone everywhere you look at our place. We have slabs of granite and marble leaned up against the walls and more of them stacked in the yard outside. It gets very dusty whenever the cutting machines are running. We have to spray water on the blades to keep them from getting too hot so the floor is often wet and a bit muddy. We deal with many different types of stone that come to us from various quarries. People come by to look at the different patterns and pick out the ones they want for their floors or kitchen counters. It is heavy work and it can be hard on your back moving those slabs around. We use a small crane to help us but a lot of the work is still done by hand. We have been at this location for a while now. The sun really beats down on the yard in the afternoon which makes the stone quite hot to touch. We don't have a fancy showroom for people to walk through. It is just the yard where you can see the stone as it is. Sometimes a slab will have a crack in it that we didn't notice before. It is a natural material so it is never going to be perfect. We just do our work.
