Shree Shyam Fashion

Our little spot, Shree Shyam Fashion, is over at No. 2/20 in Malviya Nagar. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time. We are quite close to the Step By Step School, so we hear the bells and the kids playing during the day. That kind of sets the rhythm for our afternoon. The shop isn't anything too grand. It’s just a ground-floor place with a door that sticks a little bit when it’s raining. We’ve got the name painted outside so people know where they are. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a few chairs for when we need a break. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock and making sure things aren't too messy. Malviya Nagar has changed a bit over the years, but this corner stays pretty much the same. There’s a tree nearby that drops leaves right in front of our entrance, so sweeping is a constant job. It’s a honest kind of place. We don't use big bright lights or loud music. Usually, it’s just the sound of the traffic from the main road nearby. We start our day early to get things ready before the school rush starts. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when things are slow. It’s just a regular business run by regular people. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us doing the work every day. It's a simple life here.
