Pushp Clothing

Pushp Clothing is tucked away at No. 1/ 1043 in Malviya Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood and we fit right in with the rest of the shops and houses nearby. We started this because we knew a lot about clothes and wanted a place of our own to work. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to be organized with how we stack the items. Every morning we open up and start sorting through the new materials or the finished pieces ready to go. We get a lot of people walking by, and some of them have become regulars over the years. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from people who just know where we are. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it keeps us busy. We have a couple of sewing machines and a big cutting table that takes up most of the room. Sometimes the floor gets covered in threads and scraps, but that’s just how it goes when you’re actually making things. We try to stay on top of the schedule, though things can get hectic during the festival seasons. The heat can be a bit much in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running all day. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get the garments finished without too much fuss or worry. Usually, we finish one batch before starting the next.
