M K Tour & Travels

We are based at 243 Sansar Chandra Road in the Jalupura area. We are very close to the Badi Maszid, so the sound of the calls to prayer is a regular part of our day. Our business is all about tours and travels. We help people arrange cars for trips or just for moving around the city. I spend most of my time at the desk handling the phone and the paperwork. We have a few drivers who have been with us for a long time. They know every shortcut in Jaipur and are good at navigating the traffic. The office is not very large and it usually has a bit of a mess with old maps and booking slips everywhere. We have a computer, but it is a bit slow and sometimes we just prefer to write things down in our ledger. During the wedding season, things get very chaotic because everyone needs a car at the same time. We drink a lot of tea here and the local stall owner knows exactly how we like it. We have been in this spot for over ten years now and most of the local shopkeepers are our friends. We do not wear uniforms or anything like that. We are just a small local team trying to help people get where they need to go. It can be a lot of work, especially when a car breaks down, but we always find a way to fix it.
