If you know Johari Bazar, you know how tight the lanes are. M I Enterprises is at 1670, down Haldiyon Ka Rasta. You have to navigate through the crowds and find the 5th crossing near Kawatiyon Kee Piply. It is a place with a lot of history in the walls. We have been here for a long time, dealing with whatever needs to be done. The shop is small, like most in this part of the city. We have things stacked right up to the ceiling. You learn to move around without bumping into things after a while. The air here feels heavy with the smell of the old city—spices, dust, and old stone. We don't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that has been wobbling for years. Work here is about relationships. We talk to the same people every day. It is not like a modern mall where no one knows your name. Here, everyone knows who is doing what. We handle the paperwork, the orders, and the heavy lifting ourselves. It is a slow process sometimes, getting goods in and out of these narrow streets, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Jaipur. We just want to do our part here in the heart of the bazaar and go home satisfied at the end of the day. It is just life in the lanes of Johari Bazar.
